The Gruesome Twosome is a two piece garage band from Ypsilanti, Michigan that specializes in primitive psychobilly and rock n' roll.

Think of the band's music as a woozy cross between The Cramps and The Oblivians.

The Gruesome Twosome is the skin on the musical soup that bubbles up and boils over onto the stove and burns, leaving a hard black and textural stain that is difficult to remove.

Hailing from the odd little college town of Ypsilanti, Michigan, this band is a mini super group (souper group?) that rises to the surface in the stew of their fellow artists and musicians around town.

Just like that sticky crust of soupskin simmering on your local scene's stove, The Gruesome Twosome and its music is difficult remove, staining your conscience about what rock and roll really is or was supposed to be.
